  "Description": "A self-contained, contract-emitting member of the\nagricultural analytics orchestra for spatial and\nspatio-temporal Gaussian-process regression over field and\nmulti-environment-trial layouts. Fits an exact Gaussian process\nto spatial (and optionally temporal) coordinates with a choice\nof squared-exponential or 'Matern' covariance, estimating the\nhyperparameters by marginal-likelihood optimisation. Its\ndefining feature is change of support: a prediction can be\nrequested at a support different from the one observed -- a\npoint process predicted as block (paddock-scale) averages, or\nblock averages disaggregated toward points -- with the\npredictive variance propagated through the support map.\nPredictions abstain with a typed, machine-readable reason when\nthe estimated spatial range or the data support cannot bear the\nrequested resolution, so the member refuses cleanly rather than\nreturning a confident wrong surface. Results are emitted as a\nversioned, provenance-complete object compatible with the\norchestra ensemble-manifest contract, so a smoothed field\nsurface composes directly with downstream calibration,\nuncertainty-quantification, causal-inference and decision\ntools. The package is released under the MIT licence and takes\nno heavy external Gaussian-process dependency: the exact solver\nis base R.",
